Terms of Use

Terms of Use
The basic deal for using this platform.

The legal terms that govern The Fort Carson Standard, Recon Real Estate platforms, the PCS Dashboard, Scout AI, and Boots on the Ground. Written to be readable. Last updated May 2026.

Terms of Use

The basic deal for using this platform.

By using The Fort Carson Standard, the PCS Dashboard, Scout AI, or Boots on the Ground, you agree to these terms.

The information here is informational, not professional advice. Neighborhood assessments, school summaries, commute estimates, housing observations, and PCS planning guidance reflect Recon's research and the experience of veterans and military spouses who have made these moves. They are not legal, financial, tax, medical, or military advice. They are not real estate advice in the licensed-transactional sense.

Real estate transactions require a licensed agent. Recon Real Estate, LLC is licensed in Tennessee. For real estate transactions in Colorado, we operate as a referring broker and connect you with licensed local agents. Any actual buying, selling, or leasing transaction is governed by the contract between you and the licensed professional handling that transaction.

All information is deemed reliable but not guaranteed. School district assignments, neighborhood boundaries, commute times, housing inventory descriptions, and similar specifics change over time. You must verify by exact address and current sources before making housing decisions.

Scout AI & PCS Dashboard

Limits of the tools.

Scout is an AI assistant. It is built on a general-purpose language model with a Fort Carson-specific knowledge base layered on top. It produces helpful responses most of the time and incorrect responses some of the time. Treat its answers as a starting point, not a final authority. Verify anything that matters for a real decision.

The PCS Dashboard is a planning tool. It does not file your orders, replace your sponsor, calculate your specific Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH), or substitute for unit chain of command. For official BAH, use the Defense Travel Management Office calculator. For command requirements, your chain of command is the authority.

Boots on the Ground volunteer responses reflect personal experience and opinion only. Volunteers are vetted by Recon as real, military-connected, local, and operating in good faith. They are not professional advisors. Their responses are not legal, real estate, financial, medical, or military advice. Boots is not affiliated with the U.S. military or any official sponsorship program.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recon Real Estate, LLC, its members, employees, contractors, and volunteers are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of these platforms, including but not limited to housing decisions made based on content provided here, financial decisions, school enrollment decisions, or PCS planning outcomes.

Where disputes are resolved.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
